Sungkyunkwan University Holds '2025 Traveling School Consulting Performance Dissemination Conference'

Sungkyunkwan University hosted a conference to share results from digital education consulting conducted across schools in the Gangwon region.

Sungkyunkwan University's Gangwon Regional Traveling School Consulting Center held the '2025 Traveling School Consulting Performance Dissemination Conference' on the 20th in Wonju. This event, organized with the Ministry of Education and the Korean Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, aimed to share the results of a year-long initiative that provided digital education transition consulting and tailored training for primary, middle, and high schools in the region. Over 60 education officials and guests attended the event, indicating significant interest in the initiatives presented.

The university was recognized as the first in the nation to be rated ‘Very Excellent’ in educational contributions for four consecutive years by the Ministry of Education and the Korean Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity. This acknowledgment underscores the stability and capability of local education model initiatives. The current 'Traveling School Consulting' program has also been lauded for its collaboration with specialized institutions, such as Changbi Education and KAMI, which has enhanced the capability of schools in the Gangwon region to utilize educational technology effectively.

Center Director Lee Je-won emphasized that reflecting the voices from the field has led to meaningful achievements in establishing a tailored educational model for Gangwon. He pledged to continue efforts to address digital educational disparities and strengthen regional educational competitiveness through school consulting and science culture education. Looking forward, the Gangwon Regional Traveling School Consulting Center plans to expand its tailored consulting initiatives and efforts to promote local science culture through 2026 and beyond.
