Sungkyunkwan University's Innovation Support Project hosted a performance sharing conference on the 11th, aimed at showcasing the key achievements and best practices of its educational innovation and teaching improvement initiatives. The event saw participation from university officials, including Vice President Park Ki-gwan, who assessed the project's operational performance and discussed future development strategies. The conference was organized to foster communication among project participants and amplify successful cases derived from the initiative, thereby enhancing efficiency and systemic operation in future endeavors.
The conference opened with Vice President Park's address, followed by a report on the current status of the Innovation Support Project. Highlights of the achievements included the establishment of a future-oriented education system, strengthening community synergy, experience-based educational innovations, enhanced access to education, and AI-driven growth strategies. Several innovative cases were presented, focusing on the expansion of convergent education, refinement of core competencies through liberal education, extracurricular innovations aimed at student success, big data-driven personalized career support, and the strengthening of AI capabilities for both students and faculty, along with the development of an AI-based performance management system to improve the quality of university education.
During the feedback and opinion collection segment, evaluations of the overall project operation were conducted alongside discussions on the plans and improvement directions for the 2026 academic year. The goal of this performance sharing event was to disseminate the exemplary achievements of the Innovation Support Project and incorporate the feedback into future project operations and plans for the coming year, thus ensuring the sustainability of university educational innovation.
