Korea Cyber University participated in the '2026 Seoul Marathon' with faculty and students to promote communication and strengthen bonds.

Korea Cyber University recently took part in the '2026 Seoul Marathon' held on March 15th at the Jamsil Sports Complex. This event was organized as a platform for faculty and students to interact and strengthen their camaraderie as the new academic term begins. Participants enjoyed greetings, took commemorative photos, and completed a 10km course starting from the stadium, which rounded back at Garak Market station, showcasing health and wellness through teamwork.

Among the students, Kim Dong-yeop, a sophomore from the Information Management and Security Department, shared his experience of balancing work and studies while maintaining a healthy lifestyle through running. He emphasized the positive changes he has experienced, including weight loss and stress relief, thanks to running, and highlighted the importance of managing stress effectively amidst a busy routine. His story reflects the broader message of the event, which encourages healthy living and personal growth.

Additionally, Korea Cyber University announced it will begin accepting applications for new students in the general graduate school and business graduate school starting Mid-May for the 2026 academic year. The business graduate school, which opened in the first semester of 2026, is notable for being the first cyber university in South Korea to offer an integrated master's and doctoral program. The graduate school aims to cultivate interdisciplinary research talents with strong data analysis and decision-making capabilities to tackle complex societal issues, ensuring their graduates contribute meaningfully to society.
