Korea Cyber University held a special lecture on the industrial application of Edge AI for the 22nd Infantry Division in South Korea.

Korea Cyber University, led by President Lee Won-kyu, hosted a special lecture on the industrial applications of Edge AI on the 26th at the Army's 22nd Infantry Division's Yulgok Education Center in Goseong, Gangwon Province. The lecture aimed at exploring the ways artificial intelligence can be utilized within the military, specifically targeting officers and non-commissioned officers of the division to enhance their capabilities through educational support.

In conjunction with the lecture, the university also conducted an enrollment briefing to discuss the military commissioned admission process, highlighting various aspects such as major characteristics, application procedures, and scholarship benefits. This military commissioned admission system aims to facilitate degree acquisition and lifelong education for military personnel, with the university providing a 50% tuition discount through military scholarships.

President Lee emphasized the importance of supporting self-development and tailored education for soldiers who serve as a strong shield for national security at the front lines. The university provides various services to aid military commissioned students' learning, including the introduction of a new learning portal, flexible academic systems, and operation of a psychological counseling center. They also offer free special lectures on a variety of topics for all 22 departments, available to military units that express interest in partnering with the university.
