Korea Cyber University Successfully Holds 22nd Graduation Ceremony
Korea Cyber University celebrated its 22nd graduation ceremony at Korea University on the 21st, awarding degrees to 2,764 graduates and recognizing top-performing students with various awards.
Korea Cyber University, led by President Lee Won-kyu, successfully held its 22nd graduation ceremony at the Inchon Memorial Hall of Korea University on the 21st. The ceremony was attended by significant figures including Kim Dong-won, the president of Korea University, and various faculty members, families, and friends of the graduates, marking a moment of celebration and encouragement for the new graduates. A total of 2,764 graduates received their bachelor's and master's degrees across 24 departments and the Graduate School of Convergence Information Technology, highlighting the university's role as a pioneering cyber institution in South Korea.
The ceremony included formal proceedings such as academic reports, speeches from the president and guests, as well as the conferral of degrees. Notably, 26 awards were bestowed upon students who demonstrated exceptional academic performance and contributed to the university's development, showcasing the commitment of Korea Cyber University to excellence. President Lee expressed his pride and encouragement to graduates, urging them to be leaders who navigate change rather than merely adapting to it, and to make impactful contributions in the age of AI.
In his address, Kim Dong-won emphasized the university's ongoing drive for innovation and competitiveness as it celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. Lee Han-bi, a representative of the graduates, underscored the importance of resilience in pursuit of challenges and welcomed the graduates into a community of achievers.
