Gastronomic festival focused on Goian cuisine will be held at Parque Mutirama
The Goiás Gastronomy 2026 festival will take place in Goiânia, featuring diverse culinary options and cultural presentations over two weekends in May.
The Goiás Gastronomy 2026 festival is set to celebrate the culinary diversity of Goiás with over 50 gastronomic ventures, 60 artisan producers, and more than 40 cultural performances. Scheduled for the weekends of May 7-10 and May 14-17 at Parque Mutirama in Goiânia, this year's festival theme is 'Goiás, the Table of the Future: Roots and Reinterpretations.' The official launch event will occur on Wednesday, April 18, at the Fecomércio Goiás auditorium.
The festival promises an engaging experience for attendees with a variety of activities, including performances, free culinary classes, and events centered around Goiás Cheese and Wine. Renowned chefs such as Janaína Torres, João Diamante, Babi Frazão, Carlos Bertolazzi, and Emmanuel Bassoleil will lead the cooking demonstrations and tastings. The event aims to highlight the state's cultural identity through its rich culinary traditions and innovative reinterpretations.
With free tastings and opportunities to learn directly from celebrated chefs, this festival is expected to attract both locals and visitors interested in the culinary arts. It serves not only as a platform to promote Goiás' food culture but also as a gathering space for community engagement through the shared appreciation of food and art in the region.
