Giant Food Festival to be held in Ipatinga this weekend

The Giant Food Festival is set to take place in Ipatinga, Brazil, from Friday, the 20th, to Sunday, the 22nd, at the parking lot of the Ipatingão Stadium. This event celebrates the city’s 62nd anniversary and is designed to attract attendees with a donation of 1 kg of non-perishable food as entry. The festival aims to offer a unique experience by showcasing oversized versions of popular food items, bringing not only culinary thrills but also the spirit of community involvement.
Fifteen exhibitors will participate, presenting an array of extraordinary food items that include a 3.5 kg coxinha, a 2 kg hamburger, a 60 cm hot dog loaded with eight sausages, gigantic pastel, and fry portions exceeding 1 kg. Drink offerings will also be scaled up, featuring 1-liter beer mugs. While oversized portions will dominate, visitors will also have access to individual servings starting from R$ 20, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy.
In addition to the delicious food festival, attendees can look forward to a lively schedule of musical performances that will take place throughout the weekend.
