Gastronomic festival occupies Pedreira in April
The Gastronomix festival will feature chefs from different regions of Brazil presenting diverse culinary creations in a cultural outdoor setting in Curitiba.
The Gastronomix festival, which showcases culinary diversity and technique, will take place for the first time at the Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba on April 11 and 12. This event consolidates the integration of gastronomy with music and cultural activities as part of the Festival de Curitiba. Renowned chefs will present their creations, with highlights including seafood and lamb paellas by Chef Niva from the Fogo & Mar restaurant in FlorianΓ³polis.
Since its inception in 2008, the Gastronomix has evolved into a highly anticipated event, maintaining its pioneering approach in Brazil by combining acclaimed chefs, affordable portions, and live music in an open-air environment. Ticket prices starting at R$ 10 allow a wide audience to engage with a variety of flavors, making gastronomy accessible to many. The range of dishes priced between R$ 25 and R$ 35 further encourages attendees to explore different culinary experiences.
This year's festival marks a significant step in its history, re-establishing its venue to the cultural epicenter of Curitiba, thus expanding its reach and influence as part of the city's comprehensive cultural programming. This integration not only enhances the festival's visibility but also reinforces the connection between the culinary arts and local culture, inviting community participation and celebration of Brazil's rich gastronomic heritage.
