‘Former Nurse Provides Drugs to Driver After Porsche Fall from Banpo Bridge’ Arrested

A former nurse has been arrested for allegedly providing drugs to a driver who crashed a Porsche from the Banpo Bridge while under the influence of narcotics.

A former nursing assistant in South Korea has been arrested after confessing to providing illicit drugs to a driver who crashed off the Banpo Bridge in Seoul. The driver, identified as 'B', was involved in a serious incident on the 25th of last month when he drove a black Porsche off the bridge, subsequently plummeting to the Han River embankment below. Following the crash, police discovered empty bottles of propofol and syringes full of drugs inside the vehicle. The formal court proceedings began with the West Seoul District Court, where the judge acknowledged concerns regarding the defendant's potential to flee and the destruction of evidence, leading to the issuance of an arrest warrant.

'B' reportedly met 'A', the former nurse, while seeking prescriptions for narcotics and is believed to have received aid with drug use from her on the day of the incident. The investigation has prompted police to suspect further involvement from 'A' regarding the drugging of 'B', as she voluntarily reported to the police about her actions just days after the accident. The saga emphasizes the ongoing issues of drug abuse and road safety in South Korea, prompting the law to take stricter measures against those involved in the illicit drug trade and related driving offenses.
