On March 2, 1996, all five members of the Brazilian band Mamonas Assassinas tragically died in a plane crash in Serra da Cantareira. In a unique memorial ceremony, their family has now decided to use a portion of their ashes to fertilize trees, symbolically representing the continuation of their essence through nature. This act was explained by Bento's sister-in-law, Cláudia Hinoto, who emphasized that a tree serves as a powerful symbol of life and allows a part of the deceased to remain in the world.
