The members of the famous Brazilian band Mamonas Assassinas will have their remains exhumed on Monday, October 23, as part of plans to establish a memorial at the Primaveras Cemetery in Guarulhos, São Paulo. This announcement was made through the group's social media accounts and the cemetery's channels. The exhumation coincides with the upcoming 30th anniversary of the tragic deaths of the musicians, which shocked Brazil. They died in a plane crash on March 2, 1996, shortly after a concert in Brasília, heading towards Guarulhos when their aircraft collided with the Serra da Cantareira mountains in São Paulo.
