Myongji University Holds ‘2025 Spring Degree Ceremony for Graduate and Undergraduate Students’
Myongji University celebrated its 2025 spring degree ceremony for graduate and undergraduate students from February 10 to February 11, 2025, recognizing the achievements of new graduates.
Myongji University, led by President Lim Yeon-su, held its 2025 spring degree ceremony on February 10 and 11, 2025, across its Humanities and Natural Sciences campuses, celebrating the new beginnings of its graduates. The graduate degree ceremony took place on February 10, awarding doctoral and master's degrees to a total of 507 students, while the undergraduate ceremony the following day recognized the achievements of 2,165 undergraduate students across various disciplines.
During the graduate degree ceremony, President Lim emphasized the importance of confronting unanswered questions rather than merely repeating familiar answers, urging graduates to engrain the university's founding spirit and ideals in their hearts and grow to be leaders who contribute positively to society. Similarly, at the undergraduate ceremony, he encouraged graduates to confidently pursue their values despite uncertainties, delivering messages of hope and inspiration to the new cohort entering the professional world.
The ceremonies also featured awarding of various honors to exemplary graduates for their academic achievements and community service. Among these recognitions were the Director's, President's, and Dean's Awards, which motivate and inspire the graduates to prove their worth to the world and to carve out their own paths in the face of challenges.
