Aarma and Cubalou won first place in Belgium
Estonian equestrians Mart-Sander Aarma and his horse Cubalou secured first place in their category at a recent competition in Belgium.
Last week, Estonian equestrians competed in various events in Belgium and Spain, with Mart-Sander Aarma and Cubalou achieving victory in their category. In Opglabbeek, Belgium, four Estonian show jumpers participated, and Aarma particularly stood out, finishing fourth in a one-star 130 cm event aboard Lodovica, while winning first place in the 110 cm category for five-year-old horses with Cubalou.
The competitions continued with veteran rider Urmas Raag delivering an impressive performance, securing eighth place with Blue Sky Von Seeder in a two-phase 135 cm event. Raag, competing with a second horse, finished in 12th place on Belizar Von Seeder. Aarma also participated in a one-star 130 cm two-phase event, finishing eighth with Lodovica.
Saturday was another successful day for Estonian riders, as Raag competed in a two-star 140 cm event, finishing seventh on Belizar Von Seeder. Grete Veske also participated in the same event, riding Apple Jack DB Z, and they ended up in 13th place. Overall, the performances in Belgium highlighted the skill and competitiveness of Estonian equestrians on the international stage.
