Payments of the Week from e-EFKA – DYPA
This week, a total of €2.47 billion will be distributed to over 4.3 million beneficiaries in Greece, as part of scheduled payments from the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA).
This week, from March 23 to March 27, 2026, the Greek government will disburse payments totaling €2,474,479,875.73 to 4,302,450 beneficiaries. These payments are part of the scheduled distributions from the e-EFKA (the Electronic Unified Social Security Fund) and DYPA, ensuring essential financial support to citizens. The disbursements will begin today, Monday, and continue through Friday, providing crucial assistance to various groups including pensioners and unemployed citizens.
According to the announcement from the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, substantial payments will be made from the e-EFKA. On March 26 and 27, around €2.41 billion will be allocated to approximately 4.25 million individuals as payment for main and supplementary pensions. Additionally, another €17 million will be distributed to 850 beneficiaries following the issuance of one-time payment decisions. These measures are instrumental in supporting the livelihood of retirees and others who rely on government support as part of the social safety net.
Furthermore, from DYPA, €22 million will be disbursed to 36,000 beneficiaries as unemployment benefits and other allowances, along with €1 million to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave, and an additional €17 million to assist 16,000 beneficiaries in various contexts. These payments reflect ongoing efforts by the Greek government to address financial challenges faced by its citizens and improve the provision of necessary social services during a critical period for many families in the country.
