Ministry of Labor: The 'map' of payments from e-EFKA and DYPA for the period from March 9 to 13
From March 9 to 13, a total of €70.4 million will be distributed to 73,000 beneficiaries by e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service in Greece.
The Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Security has announced that during the period from March 9 to 13, a total of €70.4 million will be disbursed to approximately 73,000 beneficiaries through payments from e-EFKA (the electronic national social security fund) and DYPA (the Public Employment Service). This substantial amount aims to support various groups in need during the specified period of payments.
Specifically, a portion of the funds involves €18 million allocated to 900 individuals who will receive one-off payments following the issuance of decisions. Furthermore, the Public Employment Service (DYPA) plans to distribute €28 million in unemployment benefits and other allowances to 47,000 recipients, highlighting the government's ongoing efforts to assist those facing unemployment and financial difficulties.
In addition, the announcement details further allocations, including €3 million for maternity leave allowances to 3,800 mothers, €20 million for 19,000 beneficiaries under subsidized employment programs, and €1.4 million for 2,300 participants in community benefit programs. This comprehensive approach underscores the Ministry's focus on enhancing social support and promoting employment opportunities for various segments of the population.
