Pensions, lump sums, benefits: All payments from EFKA - DYPA for the upcoming week
A total of €2,474,479,875 will be distributed to 4,302,450 beneficiaries from March 23 to March 27 as part of scheduled payments from e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service.
The upcoming week will see the disbursement of €2,474,479,875 to over 4.3 million beneficiaries as part of the scheduled payments by the e-EFKA (Electronic National Social Security Fund) and the Public Employment Service (DYPA) in Greece. These payments are crucial for ensuring financial support for retirees and job seekers across the country during a challenging economic climate.
Specifically, on March 26 and 27, the e-EFKA will allocate €417,419,875.73 to 4,248,500 beneficiaries for the payment of main and supplementary pensions, reflecting the government's commitment to support its elderly population. Additionally, from March 23 to March 27, other payments related to lump sums will be disbursed to approximately 850 beneficiaries who had recently received decisions on their applications.
Moreover, the DYPA will also provide financial assistance this week with €22,000,000 designated for unemployment benefits and other allowances benefitting 36,000 beneficiaries. Other allocations include €1,000,000 for 1,000 mothers benefiting from paid maternity leave and €17,000,000 earmarked for 16,000 beneficiaries in subsidized employment programs, highlighting the importance of social support measures in enhancing job opportunities and economic stability in Greece.
