A total of €70.4 million will be paid to 73,000 beneficiaries from March 9 to March 13, 2026, as part of scheduled payments by e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA) in Greece.

The Greek Ministry of Labor and Social Security has announced that between March 9 and March 13, 2026, approximately €70.4 million will be distributed to 73,000 beneficiaries through the e-EFKA and the Public Employment Service (DYPA). This funding is part of a broader initiative to support citizens with various forms of financial assistance. The payments aim to improve livelihoods as Greece continues to recover from economic challenges and high unemployment rates.

Specifically, from e-EFKA, €18 million will be allocated to 900 beneficiaries following decisions regarding lump sums. This financial assistance is crucial for those receiving one-time payments for various needs, providing them with immediate relief. Meanwhile, DYPA will distribute €28 million to 47,000 beneficiaries for unemployment benefits and other allowances, showcasing the government's commitment to supporting the unemployed and those facing financial difficulties.

Additional payments from DYPA include €3 million to 3,800 mothers for maternity leave benefits, €20 million to 19,000 individuals participating in subsidized employment programs, and €1.4 million for 2,300 beneficiaries involved in community-driven projects. These initiatives reflect the Greek government's ongoing efforts to stimulate employment and offer social protection in a landscape impacted by recent economic strains and the global pandemic.
