Between March 16 and March 20, 2023, the Greek public will receive a substantial financial aid totaling €77,263,470.40 from two major public institutions: e-EFKA (the social security organization) and DYPA (the Public Employment Service). This distribution aims to support various beneficiaries, including those receiving unemployment benefits, maternity allowances, and one-off lump sums. The total number of beneficiaries is expected to reach 87,257, highlighting the scale of assistance being provided by the government.

Specifically, e-EFKA will disburse several targeted payments during this period. Furthermore, a total of €21,000,000 will be provided to 1,000 beneficiaries following the issuing of decisions regarding one-time payments.

In addition to the e-EFKA payments, DYPA will also contribute significantly by distributing €24,000,000 to 40,000 unemployed individuals and other beneficiaries of unemployment benefits. Additionally, €1,000,000 will be assigned to 1,000 mothers for subsidized maternity leave, and finally, €18,000,000 is set aside to support 17,000 individuals through subsidized employment programs. This concerted effort by Greek authorities illustrates ongoing financial support for citizens during difficult economic times, emphasizing the government's commitment to providing economic relief and enhancing social welfare in the country.
