Solidarity Pan: TV TEM project that collects food in the interior of SP carries out 'D-Day' of donations; see how to participate
The 'Panela Solidária' project by TV TEM conducts a donation event aimed at providing food for families in need in several cities in São Paulo.
The 'Panela Solidária' initiative, a partnership between TV TEM and Sesc Mesa Brasil, is hosting its first 'D-Day' of donations this upcoming Saturday. The primary goal of this charitable effort is to alleviate hunger for numerous families facing food insecurity in the interior regions of São Paulo. As part of this campaign, the project will collect food items to be given to social institutions within the areas of São José do Rio Preto, Araçatuba, Bauru, Marília, Sorocaba, Jundiaí, and Itapetininga.
To facilitate the donation process, collection points have been established in four cities within the TV station's coverage area, where donations will be accepted from 10 AM to 5 PM. The designated locations include Serve Todos in Pirajuí, Shopping Itape in Itapetininga, Proença in São José do Rio Preto, and Tauste Campolim in Sorocaba. This effort not only highlights the participation of the community in supporting one another but also emphasizes the ongoing need for food donations in these regions.
The collection is set to continue at these fixed points, which will keep receiving donations even after the special event day. This long-term strategy aims to create a lasting impact on food availability and social support for those who are struggling, illustrating a strong commitment from local organizations to support vulnerable populations in the community.
