The incident occurred around 7:30 PM, with the businessman reportedly held captive for approximately one hour before being abandoned around 8:30 PM in Cidade Alta, a neighborhood in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro. The perpetrators made off with the victim's vehicle, which has yet to be recovered. This case was officially filed with the ImbariΓͺ Police Station, where the lead investigator, Waleska Garcez, noted that the businessman indicated no ransom or bank transfers were demanded during his captivity.
