A truck accident occurred on BR-251 in Salinas, Brazil, where a 44-year-old driver was injured when his vehicle, laden with fish, overturned. The incident took place on a curve known as Curva do Piso during the evening hours of Tuesday, September 17. Upon the arrival of firefighters, the driver was found to be conscious but trapped in the wreckage of the vehicle, which had overturned at the roadside.
Emergency responders assessed the driver, who exhibited signs of serious injuries, including suspected fractures in his upper limbs and bleeding from his left wrist. Firefighters successfully extricated him from the wreckage and transferred him to the advanced support unit of Samu (Mobile Emergency Care Service), where he was then transported to a local hospital for further treatment.
