The incident took place on Tuesday, with the driver of the car, a 61-year-old man, sustaining serious injuries and requiring medical assistance. Despite his attempts to brake in order to prevent a collision, the car continued into his lane. The younger truck driver was subjected to a breathalyzer test, which showed no signs of alcohol consumption at the time of the incident.
