The São Carlos City Hall has introduced a new urban maintenance initiative named São Carlos Mais Bonita, aimed at providing continuous and integrated care for urban areas. This program groups various municipal secretaries to execute coordinated maintenance and conservation efforts across all neighborhoods, ensuring systematic improvements in public spaces.

The primary goal of this initiative is to enhance the quality of public areas including streets, parks, and squares through services such as gardening, urban cleaning, sidewalk and curb painting, and pothole repairs. The East Zone has been selected as the first region to benefit from this program.
