In Gurugram, a troubling incident of blackmail through a honey trap has emerged, involving a lab technician, who was initially called to take a blood sample from a woman named Jyoti living in the AVL-36 Society. During this visit, the woman obtained his mobile number and initiated further contact. When the technician returned for a follow-up sample collection, he encountered two of Jyoti's accomplices who assaulted him, undressed him, and recorded a naked video to use against him.
The situation escalated as the assailants threatened the technician with false allegations of rape, coercing him to transfer money under duress. The severity of the crime highlights the risks individuals face, especially in situations where personal interactions occur in professional contexts. Such honey trap incidents underline a growing trend of exploitation in personal relationships where false pretenses lead to severe legal and personal consequences.
