A 21-year-old beautician from Chhattisgarh alleges she was manipulated into a honey trap by friends, drugged, raped, and pressured to convert her religion in Bhopal.
A shocking incident has emerged from Bhopal, where a 21-year-old beautician who relocated from Chhattisgarh has accused her close friends of conspiring against her. The victim alleges that those she considered to be like family turned on her, drugging her and sexually assaulting her, only to subsequently pressure her to convert her religion. The heinous acts included taking her to various locations under false pretenses to physically and psychologically exploit her.
The victim reported her ordeal to the police in Bhopal after confiding in her uncle. She recounted how she met a woman named Amreen, also known as Mahira, during a birthday party on December 31, 2024. Their friendship deepened over time, and she ended up staying at Amreen's home. It is suspected that Amreen had previously forced another friend to convert and marry her brother, thus revealing a troubling pattern of behavior that the victim fell prey to.
Furthermore, the victim claims that Amreen's acquaintance, identified as Chandan Yadav, threatened her in August 2025 and subsequently sexually assaulted her. The series of events has raised serious concerns about the safety of women and the emerging trend of honey traps used for exploitation and coercion, prompting calls for heightened awareness and protective measures against such devious schemes.
