Come to the 'Children's Room' to Explore the World of Art! Daily Activities for Kids
A project inviting children and adults to share their creativity through daily art activities throughout March, with opportunities to win a book.
The 'Children's Room' project invites children and families to engage in creative art activities throughout the month of March. Each day, new ideas will be shared, including challenges based on various art themes such as museum architecture, artists, and historical art pieces. Participants are encouraged to send in photos of their creations, with a chance to win the book 'Activity Book for the Year' through a lottery for ten selected authors.
In collaboration with the Latvian National Museum of Art (LNMM), the project aims to foster an appreciation for cultural heritage among children. The initiatives include printable models of the museum's building, games designed to enhance observation skills, and coloring tasks based on the museum's collection. By providing these resources, the project allows families to explore and celebrate art and culture within an interactive format.
Additionally, activities include acknowledgments of notable birthdays and participation in creative competitions, further enriching the experience for young learners. The 'Children's Room' serves as a hub for cultural education, ensuring that children can learn about art while having fun, ultimately inspiring a new generation of art enthusiasts.
