LSM has launched a creative initiative for families during the spring break, inviting parents and children to participate by sharing their artwork. From now until March 15, submissions of work can be sent via email to be featured on the LSM.lv site in the parents and children section. Ten selected authors will be randomly chosen to receive the 'Activity Book for the Year' as a prize, promoting creative expression in young minds during this festive season.

Each day throughout March, LSM will feature a new educational and creative idea that focuses on various themes related to art and culture. These will cover the museum building, artists, museum history, paintings, sculptures, costumes, performances, libraries, professions, technologies, and other related activities. The campaign is held in collaboration with LNMM, providing numerous opportunities for families to engage with art, encourage their children's creativity, and foster a love for cultural activities.

Encouragement for creativity is emphasized with practical suggestions for families such as exploring books from their personal collections to stimulate discussions about design and illustrations. This initiative seeks to make spring break a fulfilling and inspiring experience, allowing families to bond over artistic endeavors while learning about different cultural and artistic elements in a fun way.
