Estonian cyclist Madis Mihkels achieved his best result in the Tirreno-Adriatico race by finishing ninth in the third stage.

Madis Mihkels, representing EF Education - EasyPost, finished ninth in the third stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico cycling race held in Italy, covering a distance of 221 kilometers from Cortona to Magliano de' Marsi. The day's victory went to Danish cyclist Tobias Lund Andresen of the Decathlon CMA CGM team, who completed the stage in 5:29:22, followed closely by Belgians Arnaud De Lied and Jasper Philipsen.

This ninth-place finish marks Mihkels's best performance in this tour after he did not contend significantly in the first two stages. His strong performance on Wednesday showcased his endurance and skill, allowing him to gather valuable competitive points, which added five UCI points to his tally.
