As of Tuesday night, a yellow alert indicating 'potential danger' remains in effect for all cities in the state, with forecasts of up to 50 mm of rainfall within the day. This broad alert emphasizes the need for local authorities and residents to remain vigilant as conditions develop throughout the week.
On Wednesday, another yellow alert is in effect for 234 municipalities, maintaining the same potential danger status. Additionally, weather forecasts predict wind gusts of up to 60 km/h, posing further risks to public safety and infrastructure. These warnings highlight the uncertainty of weather conditions and the potential impact on daily life for residents across the region.
From Tuesday through Thursday, a more severe orange alert, denoting 'danger,' is in place for 96 specific cities in the northern and northwestern regions of Paraná, where there could be significant rainfall of up to 100 mm and wind speeds reaching 100 km/h. Inmet reports that such conditions may lead to power outages, downed tree branches, flooding, and lightning strikes, urging the public to prepare for possible emergencies during this weather event.
