IF Baiano has announced an extension of the registration deadline for its free preparatory course, which is designed specifically for students in the 9th grade of public schools. Previously, registrations were set to close on February 28 but will now remain open until March 13. The course, known as Partiu IF, consists of 320 hours of in-person instruction over eight months and will provide a total of 560 spots across 14 different campuses, with each campus offering 40 places.

The selection process for the course will take place on March 23, through an electronic draw that will be streamed on the IF Baiano's video channel. Those selected for the program will receive financial support amounting to R$ 1,600, which will be disbursed in monthly installments of R$ 200 to assist with transport and food costs. However, to qualify for the full amount of aid, students must maintain a minimum attendance rate of 75% throughout the program.

It is important to note that participation in the Partiu IF course does not automatically secure a future place at IF Baiano, as students must undergo a separate admission process for enrollment in technical courses. This preparatory initiative is vital for enhancing opportunities for public school students and preparing them for future academic challenges in higher education.
