Myongji University Holds Club Expo at Humanities Campus, Attracting Attention with Hands-on Booths

Myongji University hosted a club expo at its Humanities Campus, engaging students with various activities and hands-on learning experiences.

Myongji University recently organized the '2026 First Semester Club Expo' from March 4 to 5, aimed at encouraging students to explore their interests and engage in campus activities. The event took place at several locations, including the MCC Terrace and student center on campus, providing a platform for 35 central clubs and 4 semi-clubs to introduce their activities and recruit new members. The expo was overseen by the 42nd General Club Association, SO:ONE, and ran from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily, drawing substantial interest from students with its promotional booths and diverse hands-on programs.

During the expo, student clubs showcased their unique offerings through various interactive programs, such as a Christian club teaching sign language inspired by worship lyrics and an advertising club encouraging creativity with random keywords to create one-line ads. Additionally, a photography club provided an experience to distinguish between AI-generated and real photos, fostering discussion around the emerging technology. The IT club displayed data center server equipment, giving students a rare opportunity to engage with IT infrastructure closely, while a guitar club led a workshop on creating custom guitar picks, attracting music enthusiasts. Participants could also join a sticker-collecting event at club booths for a chance to win prizes through a post-event Instagram raffle.
