A second hotel will be built at Krakow airport. There is only one such facility in Poland

Kraków Airport Hotel and Accor group have signed an agreement to build a new Tribe hotel at the airport, the second of its kind in Poland.

Kraków Airport Hotel, part of the International John Paul II Airport Kraków-Balice group, in collaboration with the Accor group, has announced plans to construct a new Tribe hotel at Kraków Airport. This new establishment will feature 170 midscale rooms, a restaurant with a cocktail bar, and a cozy conference space. The introduction of this hotel is aimed at expanding the hospitality options available to travelers at the airport, which have seen a significant increase in demand in recent years.

Currently, the Kraków Airport Hotel manages the Hilton Garden Inn Kraków Airport, which opened in 2014 and has since catered to 78,000 guests last year with an occupancy rate nearing 90%. This performance significantly exceeds the average occupancy rate of Kraków hotels, which stands at 77%. The new Tribe hotel represents the growing trend and demand for modern hospitality concepts that cater to travelers with contemporary amenities and a premium experience, reflecting the evolving travel landscape.

The new hotel will not only enhance the services available for the increasing number of passengers, projected to reach 20 million in a few years, but it will also position Kraków Airport as a competitive travel hub in the region. With over 20 Tribe hotels operating across more than 10 countries, this new hotel marks a significant step in enhancing the brand's presence in Poland and responding to the rising demand for unique accommodations in premium market segments.
