Hotel in Gdańsk's Wrzeszcz Already at the Starting Line

A new hotel in Gdańsk's Wrzeszcz district is set to be developed by Lithuanian 1 Asset Management, with construction beginning soon and an opening scheduled for summer next year.

The upcoming hotel in Gdańsk's Wrzeszcz district represents a collaborative effort between Lithuanian 1 Asset Management as the investor and local developer Upside Property, with Atlas Ward Polska as the general contractor. This seven-story building will feature one underground level, reaching a total height of 22.74 meters and a usable area of 11,400 square meters. Housing 375 rooms, some designed for people with disabilities, the hotel also includes a commercial space, indicating a focus on inclusivity and modern amenities.

The hotel is slated to achieve a BREEAM In-Use certification at a minimum level of 'Very Good', highlighting the commitment to sustainability in its construction and operational practices. The Gdańsk city authorities granted the construction permit at the end of December 2025, and groundbreaking is set for this month. The target for receiving the first guests is the upcoming summer, aligning with the increasing demand for modern accommodation options in Gdańsk, particularly appealing to younger travelers.

This project marks an important development in the ongoing transformation of Gdańsk's accommodation landscape, addressing the growing tourism sector's needs. With a focus on modern design and eco-friendly standards, the hotel is positioned to enhance the city’s appeal to visitors and contribute to the local economy. Furthermore, as it stands in a well-trafficked area, its success could influence future developments in the vicinity, shaping the town's hospitality offerings and urban environment.
