Kraków Airport is building a second hotel. There is only one such facility in Poland.
Kraków Airport is expanding its hospitality offerings with the construction of a new Tribe hotel, in partnership with Accor, to complement its existing Hilton Garden Inn.
Kraków Airport is set to enhance its accommodations with the announcement of a new Tribe hotel, in collaboration with the Accor group. The Kraków Airport Hotel, part of the International Airport Group, has signed a letter of intent to build this new facility, which will include 170 midscale rooms, a restaurant with a cocktail bar, and a small conference space. This venture marks the introduction of the second Tribe hotel in Kraków and in Poland, with the first already established in the city center.
Currently, the Kraków Airport Hotel operates the Hilton Garden Inn, which opened in 2014 and has seen significant success, with approximately 78,000 guests using its services last year, and an impressive occupancy rate nearing 90 percent compared to a 77 percent average across Kraków hotels. The introduction of the Tribe brand, known for its modern design that combines essential services with premium touches, aims to attract a new segment of travelers looking for contemporary hospitality options.
As Kraków Airport anticipates serving 20 million passengers in the coming years, the addition of this new hotel is expected to enhance the overall travel experience in the region, contributing to the growing hospitality sector around the airport. The establishment of more hotel brands at the airport also signifies a proactive response to the increasing demand for accommodation linked to travel and tourism in the city.
