Call for projects in education and citizenship across the country
The sixth edition of the Education with Citizenship Call is now open for institutions throughout Brazil, offering funding up to R$ 37,500 for six organizations.
The Instituto Chamex has opened registrations for its sixth edition of the Education with Citizenship Call, which aims to support institutions across Brazil with funding of up to R$ 37,500 for six selected projects. The initiative seeks to address several key themes in education, including the importance of early childhood development, innovative approaches to the creative economy for youth, and fostering creativity as a vital tool for teaching, learning, and entrepreneurship. Interested organizations can submit their applications until April 3.
This initiative is a collaboration between the Instituto Chamex and the Idis β Institute for the Development of Social Investment, a prominent institution in Brazil that provides technical assistance to social investors. By providing financial support, the Call seeks not only to fund creative educational projects but also to enhance the capabilities of the chosen organizations through four training workshops focused on project management and change theory. This comprehensive approach illustrates a commitment to not just funding, but also empowering institutions to make a lasting impact.
The focus on creativity and early childhood is crucial, as research increasingly shows that these factors significantly contribute to long-term educational and social outcomes. By emphasizing these aspects, the Education with Citizenship Call aims to catalyze a shift in educational practices across Brazil, encouraging organizations to develop innovative solutions to longstanding challenges within the educational system. This could potentially lead to a more dynamic educational landscape that supports both educators and students in meaningful ways.
