2025 ‘Proud Seoul Tech University Alumni’ Award Winners Selected
Seoul National University of Science and Technology has chosen alumnus Na Gi-seon as the recipient of the 2025 'Proud Seoul Tech Alumni' award, recognizing his significant contributions to the construction industry in South Korea.
The Seoul National University of Science and Technology (known as Seoul Tech), under President Kim Dong-hwan, has announced that Na Gi-seon, an alumnus from the Department of Environmental Engineering, who graduated in 2004, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 'Proud Seoul Tech Alumni' award. The award will be presented at the university's graduation ceremony for the 2025 academic year. Na Gi-seon is the chairman of Goduk Construction Co., which ranks 173rd in the construction capability evaluation in South Korea, and has made significant contributions to the country's construction industry by participating in major projects such as the construction of Ulleung Airport and the GTX project for the metropolitan rapid transit system.
During the announcement, Na expressed his honor in receiving the award at such a meaningful occasion and stated his intention to share this honor with the university's 130,000 alumni and all members of the university community. The award aims to recognize individuals who have demonstrated character and virtue while making significant contributions to the development of society and the university's honor. Seoul Tech plans to continue this tradition in the future by awarding the 'Proud Seoul Tech Alumni' to notable figures across various sectors who exemplify these qualities.
