Approximately 100 residents from various communities within the Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State benefitted from a free medical outreach and distribution of food items, held on Friday. The event was organized by friends of Mr. Akinyode Oyewusi, the Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly, to commemorate his birthday. During the outreach, residents received various medical consultations, tests for malaria and Hepatitis B, free medications, as well as eye tests and glasses at a town hall in Ipetumodu.

The Deputy Speaker, represented by his wife, Mrs. Adeola Oyewusi, addressed attendees and expressed a commitment to providing ongoing support to the community's vulnerable and aged populations. The initiative targeted individuals who were identified as most in need, reflecting a commitment to social welfare that goes beyond ceremonial celebrations. This outreach not only highlights the importance of medical accessibility in rural areas but also showcases community engagement in health initiatives.
