In total, food items worth around 50,000 rupees were destroyed. Assistant Food Commissioner Shailendra Singh emphasized the department's zero tolerance towards adulteration during the festive period, stating that this operation will continue relentlessly.

In Azamgarh, the department also conducted a significant raid on a warehouse, where they confiscated sweets worth approximately 3.35 lakh rupees including adulterated khoya, kaju barfi, paneer, and other confections, which had been transported from Agra.
