Tiisaar and Korotkov Start the Season with a New Hall and a New Coach
Mart Tiisaar and Dmitri Korotkov begin their season under new coach Dirk Boehle and will train at their own beach hall.
Mart Tiisaar and Dmitri Korotkov, the Estonian beach volleyball duo, are entering their second season together, this time with a new coach, Dirk Boehle. This transition marks a significant change as they will also have the opportunity to train in their own newly built beach hall, providing them with a dedicated space for their preparation. Tiisaar and Korotkov discussed their collaboration with Boehle, highlighting their plans for the season and the adjustments they have made between the previous and current seasons.
Last season, the duo managed to secure a bronze medal in the FIVB World Tour in Warsaw, which was a highlight amidst some challenging tournaments where they narrowly missed qualifications three times in a row. Tiisaar expressed gratitude for the way last season unfolded, noting that although there were difficulties, they might have laid the groundwork for this year's improvements and organizational changes. The experience shaped their approach for the upcoming competitions, and they feel optimistic about applying the lessons learned to enhance their performance this season.
This year, along with their new hall, many changes have been introduced to their training regimen and strategy. The newly established Hetk beach hall serves not only as a training ground but also represents a significant step forward for their careers as athletes. As they embark on this season, Tiisaar and Korotkov look forward to overcoming the challenges ahead and establishing a solid foundation for future success in the competitive landscape of beach volleyball.
