Fairs, the Joint Coordination Committee between Aefi and It-Ex is Established
A new Joint Coordination Committee has been established between the Italian Exhibition and Fairs Association (Aefi) and It-Ex to enhance Italy's exhibition system and competitiveness.
The first meeting of the newly formed Joint Coordination Committee between Aefi, the Italian Exhibition and Fairs Association, and It-Ex, the Italian Association of International Exhibitions, was attended by Adolfo Urso, the Minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy. The purpose of this committee is to develop operational guidelines for collaboration between the two associations, as well as to prepare structured proposals to be submitted to the decision-making bodies of their respective organizations. This initiative aims to strengthen the Italian exhibition system and enhance its international competitiveness.
Minister Urso emphasized that this joint effort marks a turning point for the Italian exhibition sector, aligning with the needs of businesses and ushering in a new and fruitful phase for the industry. He described it as a sign of strength for the Italian system, reflecting a commitment to adapt and evolve in response to current market demands. The committee's formation is a proactive step toward addressing challenges in the exhibition landscape and capitalizing on opportunities for growth.
Furthermore, the establishment of the committee signals a potential merger of the two associations, strongly advocated by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. This merger is seen as crucial for reinforcing Italy's position in the global exhibition market, ensuring that Italian fairs can compete effectively on an international scale. By uniting resources and voices, Aefi and It-Ex aim to create a more cohesive strategy that can better serve the interests of the Italian exhibition sector and its stakeholders.
