In Daugavpils, the Unity House is illuminated in the colors of the Ukrainian flag as part of a concert and the traditional march "Together Until Victory!" that occurs annually on February 24, marking the anniversary of the war in Ukraine. Organized by the association "Other Daugavpils" in collaboration with the Cultural Institute "New East," the event aims to rally community support for Ukraine.

Vitalijs Meinerts, a representative for the informal community "Daugavpils Fire," emphasized that this year marks the fourth year of the war, and there is a noticeable fatigue in public discourse around the war’s coverage. Despite this, the organizers feel it is crucial to continue holding such events to maintain a level of awareness and support for Ukraine. Meinerts mentioned the importance of ensuring that basic informational support continues and the need to remind the community of the authoritarian regimes nearby that pose a threat.

The march "Together Until Victory!" is scheduled to begin at 5 PM on Rīgas Street, near the Daugavpils railway station. This event not only serves as a demonstration of solidarity with Ukraine but also aims to engage the local community in remembering the ongoing situation and the importance of vigilance against the challenges posed by neighboring dictatorships.
