The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) has announced the opening of 3,235 free vacancies for individuals aged 60 and older through its Universidade Aberta à Pessoa Idosa (Unapi) program. These programs aim to enrich the lives of seniors by providing opportunities in education, culture, sports, and outreach, alongside traditional undergraduate courses. Participants can choose from a total of over 100 activities available across the university's campuses in the state.

Registration for these courses will begin in February and is staggered according to campus locations. For instance, registrations in Campo Grande will take place from February 19 to 27, while other cities like Aquidauana and Naviraí will have a later timeframe from February 19 to March 5. Each campus has its own specific registration timing, ensuring that seniors across the state can access these educational resources and activities tailored to their needs.
