The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) is offering a preparatory course with applications open until March 16, 2026, including free spots for economically vulnerable students.
The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS) has announced that it is accepting applications for its 2026 preparatory course, which is open until March 16. This initiative aims to provide 500 spots to students preparing for the national university entrance examination (Enem), other vestibulares (entrance exams), and the university's selective assessment program (PASSE). The course charges a fee of R$400, with 100 spots available free of charge for students who can demonstrate economic vulnerability, allowing wider access to education.
Classes will commence on March 16 and run until December 4, culminating in a final review session on December 2 at the Glauce Rocha Theater, which is open to the community. This program targets both public and private school students who have completed or are in the process of completing their high school education and wish to refresh their knowledge on the main subjects covered in the exams. With online classes available, participants will cover essential curriculum areas such as mathematics, language, and sciences, important for their upcoming evaluations and academic success.
By providing this preparatory course, UFMS is not only aiding students in their exam preparation but also contributing to the broader educational landscape of the region. The initiative reflects the university's commitment to accessibility and support for students from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that they have the resources and knowledge needed to succeed on critical assessments that dictate their futures in higher education.
