In the latest enforcement actions by the Latvian police, four drivers were apprehended for driving under the influence of alcohol over the past day. Of these incidents, three occurred in the Riga region and one in Zemgale. Following these violations, law enforcement initiated one administrative infringement process and three criminal cases, reflecting a strict enforcement policy against driving while impaired. Additionally, two vehicles will be confiscated as part of the penalties.
