The Administration of Fernando de Noronha is set to host the inaugural Carnival da Ressaca this weekend, specifically on Saturday, January 21, and Sunday, January 22, starting at 7 PM at the Polo da Folia in Praça São Miguel, located in the Vila dos Remédios. This event aims to engage both locals and tourists with live music and vibrant festivities. Notable performances for Saturday include artists like Jefferson Moura, Wallas Arrais, Galã do Brega, and Tayara Andreza, while Sunday will feature Clara Sobral, Caninana, Eves Sandes, and Yannis.

In contrast to the prior Terça-feira Gorda event, the block Chupa Minha Ostra will not parade through the streets but will concentrate instead at the Polo da Folia. As organized by Sérgio Noronha, the block will have a designated area from 7 PM to 9 PM where attendees wearing the block's shirt and holding its cup will receive complimentary drinks during the gathering, promoting a sense of community and celebration among participants.
