On the last night of the carnival in Fernando de Noronha, celebrated on Tuesday, July 17, the Praça São Miguel in the Village of Remedies came to life with vibrant festivities. Participants enjoyed parades from local carnival blocks, including Chupa Minha Ostra and Raparigas do Trânsito, accompanied by shows from local artists D’breck and Silvério Pessoa. The atmosphere buzzed with energy as festival-goers gathered in what was termed the Polo da Folia, where the community celebrated the conclusion of the carnival season.
The Chupa Minha Ostra block opened the evening's festivities, marking its second participation in the carnival. Festivities began with a gathering at Bosque Flamboyant, from where the block paraded through the streets, showcasing the lively spirit of frevo music led by the orquestra 100% Camará. Revelers expressed joy and enthusiasm, with attendees like businesswoman Marina Cavalcante sharing her excitement about the organized schedule and entertainment, noting the delightful experience she had while participating.
The Raparigas do Trânsito block, composed of taxi drivers, also contributed to the diverse entertainment lineup of the evening, highlighting the local community's involvement in the festivities.
