The Federal Government of Nigeria has announced the resumption of construction on the Kano–Gwarzo–Dayi road, a project that had been halted for over three years. This revival was facilitated by the Deputy President of the Senate, Barau Jibrin, who revealed on his social media that the project had received a N19 billion funding approval. Barau Jibrin, representing the Kano North Senatorial District, discussed the project's reactivation after a successful meeting with officials from CGC Nigeria Limited, the contracted company responsible for the construction. The resolution of outstanding issues that had previously stalled progress has paved the way for contractors to return to the site, much to the delight of local residents who rely on this road for access and commerce.
