Clean Conscience 2026: Drive-thru raises awareness about correct waste disposal in AC
The Clean Conscience project will conduct a drive-thru event in Acre to promote proper waste disposal and recycling.
The Clean Conscience project is set to take place in Rio Branco, Acre, on the 28th, aiming to educate the community about the correct disposal of electronic waste, batteries, and used cooking oil, while also encouraging recycling efforts. The initiative will include a collection service for these materials, ensuring they are disposed of properly to enhance solid waste management in the region.
In addition to raising awareness, the event, dubbed Day D – Clean Conscience Action: Acre for the Environment and Climate, will feature over 20 exhibitors providing various community services related to well-being, health, and legal orientation. This gathering underlines the importance of sustainable practices and aims to engage the public with educational activities focused on environmental stewardship.
The Clean Conscience project, facilitated by the Fundação Rede Amazônica (Fram), emphasizes the commitment to sustainability and environmental consciousness in Acre. By providing free services and activities open to the community, the project seeks to empower residents to make informed decisions regarding waste disposal and highlight the significance of recycling in combating environmental challenges.
