In Rio Branco, the Clean Consciousness Project offers services to the public at Lago do Amor

The Clean Consciousness Project in Rio Branco, Brazil, offers various services including health care, legal aid, and environmental activities to promote community engagement.

The Clean Consciousness Project, taking place at Lago do Amor in Rio Branco, Brazil, launched its second edition this Saturday. The event, known as the Day D – Clean Consciousness Action, aims to enhance environmental awareness and community involvement by providing a range of services. Running until 7 p.m., the initiative includes health services, legal advice, debt negotiation, immunizations, and the registration of rural environmental information (Cadastro Ambiental Rural, or CAR). Furthermore, it features recreational activities and the issuance of documents, ensuring a comprehensive approach to community support.

A standout feature of the initiative is the 'Drive-Thru of Waste' program, which offers residents a convenient way to dispose of electronic waste, batteries, and used cooking oil correctly. In exchange for these items, participants receive free plant seedlings, promoting green initiatives and proper waste disposal methods. The project is a collaborative effort led by the Fundação Rede Amazônica (Fram) in partnership with the Acre government and the State Secretary for the Environment, alongside local organizations.

This community-embedded project not only aims to enhance environmental practices but also strengthens civic ties by encouraging participation and providing essential services to locals. By integrating various social, environmental, and legal services, the Clean Consciousness Project serves as a model for future initiatives focusing on holistic community engagement in sustainable practices in the region.
