The initiative, named ASACADA—A Societal Awareness Campaign Against Drug Abuse—was highlighted during a press briefing in Awka, where the founder, Princess Adaokeke Amam, emphasized the need for active engagement with the youth to tackle this pressing problem.

The ASACADA clubs are being established in schools throughout major cities including Lagos, Abuja, and regions in the South-East, with the intention of fostering a culture that discourages drug use and cult membership.
